Telugu actress Soundarya was the leading actress telugu and kannada film She made her film debut while in her first year of MBBS, when she was offered a role by a friend of her father's in the Kannada film Gandharva and First Telugu Film 'Manavarali Pelli'.
Soundarya acted a lot of Telugu movies such as 'Pavithra Bandham', 'Pellichesukundam' with Venkatesh, found to be a popular pair. She acted in several female oriented roles like Thommidi nelalu, Arundhathi, Maa inti aadapaduchu etc. Director's like Raghavendra rao, S.V.Krishna Reddy, Kodi Ramakrishna, Kranthi Kumar gave her Lead roles in their films. Soundarya also acted in one Hindi movie Surya Vamsham. She also acted in Tamil films, such as Arunachalam and Padayappa.
Soundarya produced and acted in the Kannada film Dweepa and Apthamithra with Vishnuvardhan. Malayalam Actress Soundarya also acted in Malayalam movie opposite Jayaram and Mohanlal. The film 'Dweepa' won the Golden Lotus, which is given for best film of the year. The plane plunged down as soon as it took off and burned down.
