Yathra -1985

Malayalam movie Yathra tells story of a forest officer Unnikrishnan who falls in love with a local girl. Police arrests Unnikrishnan who looks like a criminal and send him for jail term. Unnikrishnan tells the story as flashback and in the climax he meeting with his lover who is still waiting for him near forest. The movie is falls into must watch film category and Mammootty won best actor award.
Manjil Virinja pookkal -1980

It was a new generation movies during 80’s unfolds love story between Kishan and Prabha and Narendran ex husband of Prabha enters in to the scene. The movie tells the story about Chekavar of present north Malabar. Chandu a warrior accused by many and the film reveal the reality behind it. The films tells about the love, treachery and cheating. Devasuram – 1993

The story of the movie is based on the rivalry between Mangalassery Neelakandan and Mundakkal Sekharan. It is considered as the best film of Mohanlal. The movie continuously runs in theaters more than six months. There is sequel made after this movie titled Ravanaprabhu. The female lead did by Malayalam Tamil actress Revathi.
